Born and raised in Millinocket, Maine, Dr. Boynton grew up in a family of dentists, so a career in dentistry came quite naturally. He began his college studies at the University of Maine at Orono before earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
After dental school, Dr. Boynton returned to Millinocket to practice alongside his brother before making the move to southern Maine with his family. In April 2000, he opened Yarmouth Dental, where he has cared for patients and families throughout the community for more than 26 years.
As a full-service family practice, Yarmouth Dental reflects Dr. Boynton's commitment to comprehensive, high-quality care. He focuses heavily on restorative and cosmetic dentistry, taking great pride in creating beautiful, natural-looking results.

Outside of the office, Dr. Boynton and his wife, Marcy, enjoy their life in Harpswell. You’ll usually find them somewhere along the coast—hiking by the ocean, watching the sunset, enjoying dinner on the islands, or spending time with their four grown daughters, family, and dogs.
Dr. Boynton also takes a special interest in digital dentistry and enjoys keeping up with all of the new and exciting ways it is changing the field. He loves seeing what today's technology allows him to do for his patients, helping to make dental care more precise, efficient, and comfortable.
